Methods of data collection:
We collect personal information via the internet and our company websites for the purpose of marketing to and serving potential customers and existing clients. Personal information collection may include and is not limited to: first and last name, street address, email address, preferred telephone number and credit card/payment information.

For the purposes of understanding our internet reach, we periodically review analytic IP history and website viewer statistics provided by Squarespace and Google Analytic services to understand where and how traffic (website views) are coming to our website. At this juncture, our companies do not participate in any additional advertising campaigns or share details of IP address information other than for our internal use of seeing where online traffic is coming from. IP information usually only provides city, state (US) or country from where viewer resides.

Information storage:
Customer data and information is stored securely in our project and contact management system via 17 Hats. That information is used to create a computer desktop generated, updated customer list for print out and internal business use. Email communication is handled through Gmail/Google email services. Should we receive your information via other means, such as social media site inquiries, we will direct you to provide your information via a form found on our website.

Other client project communication will take place via cell phone text messaging, conference calls, in person meetings and phone conversations to complete customer's project. Should you need to provide client details regarding a project that encompass company files, we will ask you to securely send them to us via Dropbox via your email account.

Third payment tools/credit card processing:
The third party tools we use to collect potential and existing customer information includes: 17 Hats (contact forms and client management), Interact Online Quizzes and Mailchimp email newsletter services.

When applicable, method of payment for fees incurred for company services should you become a customer will need to be provided. Should credit card details be needed, we will ask you to provide those details over the phone to a company representative for processing or via secure electronic invoice by 17 Hats, Paypal, Square and/or Stripe.

Payments for customer incurred services will be processed by check (mailed to 9660 S. Division Ave, Byron Center, MI 49315) or securely through third party credit card processing services provided by 17 Hats, Paypal, Square and/or Stripe. Should client request to be billed by credit card in payments, we will securely store client payment information in our Stripe account.

Our consent policy:
Our email opt in lists include a double opt in policy to ensure the data has been entered by the indented user. Email opt in information is stored via our Mailchimp accounts. Data and personal information collected via contact forms found on our websites are stored securely in our 17 Hats management system and computer desktop generated, updated customer list for print out and internal business use. Any personal details shared via email, in person meeting or phone/text conversations will be used solely for the purpose of completing a customer’s project.

Access to and removal of information:
Should you request a record of the information stored on file as an email subscriber or customer, we will provide information as soon as work-ably possible. Should you need to unsubscribe, update information or request personal details or information be removed from any of the secure systems previously mentioned, please contact us directly.
 


INFORMATION, COLLECTION USE AND SHARING
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
